the details:

body in maple, pegs in walnut

treated with a food-safe finish (linseed oil + beeswax)

the design:

this is a french-style straight rolling pin with some useful embellishments. the pegs along the length are spaced at 1” increments for rolling dough to a desired diameter while the 1/4" and 1/8" stepped ends are for checking dough thickness. these features increase speed and accuracy, resulting in better bakes, while also eliminating the need for multiple tools.
